Chairman
As the cofounder (along with John
Barrett) of Bowman,
Barrett & Associates Inc. (BB&A), Louis Bowman, PE, PLS
serves as the Chairman of the firm. With over 50 years of experience,
he is a notable authority on transportation engineering issues.
Significant projects he has managed during his career include the
curb front expansion at O’Hare International Airport, the
Illinois Center development in Chicago, and the relocation of Lake
Shore Drive from the Chicago River to Monroe Street.
Mr. Bowman serves as the Project Manager for BPC Airport Partners.
The joint partnership was formed to provide master civil engineering
services for the O’Hare International Airport Modernization
Program.
Mr. Bowman earned a BSCE degree from the University of Illinois.
He is a registered professional engineer in seven states, including
Illinois and a registered professional land surveyor in Illinois.
